BARRETT’S CHAPEL

The Birth Place of the United Methodist Church. Mark, Sue, Judy and Rick had the pleasure of visiting  Barrett’s Chapel on Route #1 in Frederica on March 7th 2020 to hear “THE FIRST STATE BRASS”  What a delightful afternoon, if you get a chance to hear them play, you will not be disappointed. It turned out to be a very interesting day, Sue and Mark attended a meeting in the morning which was a discussion on the current issues facing the United Methodist Church and then in the afternoon we were in the Birthplace of American Methodism. 1784 to 2020 Methodism continues to evolve and change.

I’m sure hundreds of us have driven past this Historic Landmark Hundreds of times on the way to or from the beach, maybe one of these times you will take the time to stop and check it out.
